Point Pleasant Beach Police Make Drug and Burglary Arrests

Some investigations continuing

Thirteen people have been arrested in Point Pleasant Beach for offenses such as drug possession, burglary and assault during February, police said on Wednesday.

A few of the more significant cases are as follows, according to Detective Patrick Petruzziello:

On Feb. 10, three people were arrested in connection with the distribution of prescription medicine.

Brett Doyle, 22, of Tinton Falls, Raymond Behar, 21, of Brick, and a third suspect were charged by Officer Brian Spader with one count each of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.

The third name is not being released yet because the investigation is ongoing.

On Feb. 9, an arrest warrant was issued for a man in connection with the burglary of a house on Limroth Row. Andres J. Aparicho, 31, was charged with one count each of burglary and criminal mischief.

Initially, his family had reported him missing. Detective Lt. Clint Daniel learned through his investigation that Aparicho was actually lodged in the Monmouth County jail under a different name in connection with an armed robbery in Asbury Park.

In a separate incident, police charged a man on Feb. 9 in connection with a commercial burglary and theft investigation which is continuing. Police are not releasing other details yet.
