Road Flooding Warnings Issued In Point Pleasant Beach, Point Pleasant, Bay Head
Authorities in all three towns are urging drivers to use caution because multiple areas are seeing flooding.

POINT PLEASANT & POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Flooding caused by heavy rain from the storm passing through the area on Thursday has prompted authorities in Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach and Bay Head to exercise caution and avoid flooded roads.
Flooding was affecting roads throughout Point Pleasant and Bay Head, authorities said.
"There is flooding townwide please use caution while traveling during the inclement weather," Point Pleasant police said in an alert.

An alert from the Ocean County Sheriff's Office on Thursday afternoon said Bay Head was experiencing flooding throughout the town as well.
"Expect delays," the sheriff's alert said.

Point Pleasant Beach authorities said, "Residents are urged to use caution and prepare for potential flooding throughout town," in an alert.
The National Weather Service coastal flood warning for Ocean County runs through 11 p.m. Thursday.
In addition, runoff from the rain is expected to contribute to localized flooding. The rain was expected to clear off Thursday afternoon.
