Santa Making The Rounds With Point Pleasant Beach Cops

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ - He's not as tall as most police officers here. And his uniform is definitely different.

But fear not. "Officer Kringle" is on the job, helping out with community policing around Point Pleasant Beach. He discusses the events of the day with Police Chief Joseph Michigan. He rides in a police cruiser, checks out the NJ Transit station, and patrols the boardwalk. He supervises other officers at the gun range.

So keep an eye out for this auxiliary police officer around town over the next two weeks.
