School Bus Driver Employed By Point Beach Company Is Arrested
The man was arrested at a school that serves students with emotional difficulties and other special needs, police said.
MARLBORO, NJ — A 73-year-old school bus driver from a company based in Point Pleasant Beach has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and promoting obscene material.
The bus driver has been identified as Dominic Vella of Brick, said Marlboro police. There was no physical contact between the bus driver and any of the students and no one was injured, and police did not give any further details.
Vella was employed as a bus driver with Briggs Transportation, which based out of Point Pleasant Beach. He was processed and released on a summons to appear in court.

The man was arrested Thursday at Collier High School on Conover Road. in the Morganville section of Marlboro, said police. Collier is a private high school that serves students with emotional difficulties and other special needs.
