Summer Camp 2024 Registration Opening In Point Pleasant Beach
The Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee will begin accepting registrations for camp. Camp counselors are sought as well.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Registration for the 2024 Park Summer Camp in Point Pleasant Beach opens Wednesday, May 1, welcoming youth residents for six weeks of fun, the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee announced.
The camp will be held Monday through Friday from July 8 through Aug. 16 from 8:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Pleasure Park in Point Pleasant Beach.
The fee for the full summer camp attendance is $375 per child for Point Pleasant Beach residents, $500 per child for nonresidents.

If space allows, children can attend for select weeks at $125 per week for residents, $200 per week for nonresidents.
Registration for Point Pleasant Beach residents opens Wednesday, May 1; after May 21, residents can register on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces for residents will not be guaranteed after May 21.

Nonresident registration opens May 21, on a first-come, first-served based on camp numbers and spots available.
A Point Pleasant Beach resident is defined as any child whose parent or legal guardian owns property in Point Pleasant Beach. If a child is living with a relative/friend who is not a parent or legal guardian, they will be subject to the nonresident fee and can begin registering on June 1.
Children of a parent/legal guardian in a yearly rental lease are considered residents. Summer or short-term rental leases are considered nonresidents and will be subject to the nonresident fee and can begin registering on June 1.
Children who live outside of Point Pleasant Beach but attend school in Point Pleasant Beach are nonresidents and will be subject to nonresident fee and can begin to register on June 1.
Proof of guardianship, property ownership and/or year-round lease will be required upon registration.

The committee also is accepting applications for summer camp counselors. Lead counselors are paid $20 per hour, and regular counselors are paid $17 per hour. There will be staff training July 2, 3 and 5. Email the Recreation Committee at RecreationCommittee@pointbeach.org for an application.
