POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — It's become a holiday tradition in Point Pleasant Beach: the Antrim Cooks Tour.

The tour visits borough homes that are all decked out for Christmas, and each stop offers goodies from local restaurants to sample as you soak in the holiday spirit.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the tour, which is the largest fundraiser for the Parent Teacher Organization at G. Harold Antrim Elementary School. The theme is "25 Years of Christmas Memories!" and the participating homes will be decorated in a theme reminiscent of some of the favorite themes of the tour over its history.

Some of the restaurants include Top That Donut, Jimmy's Cucina, Joe Leone's, Shore House, Sweet Revenge Chocolate, B2 Bistro, and MoGo, with others anticipated to join the list.

The Cooks Tour is set for Saturday, Dec. 6.

Ticket sales begin Saturday, Sept. 20. They can be purchased at the Antrim PTO's table at the Festival of the Sea in Point Pleasant Beach, and they will be available online as well at the Antrim Cooks Tour website.

"Funds raised from the Cooks Tour have allowed the PTO to fund playground enhancements, auditorium improvements, put free books in the hands of students throughout the school, provide immersive educational experiences for the students, funded assemblies, fulfilled teacher wishlists, and so much more," the PTO said. "The Cooks Tour is the lynchpin of the PTO's fundraising efforts, and we need the support of our community — both near and far — to make this year a success again."
