Woman Told 'Do You Want Corona?' Outside Point Boro Ice Cream: AG

The suspect told the woman, "Do you want to die?" after she went inside to get ice cream at Sundaes in Point Pleasant Boro, the OAG said.

POINT PLEASANT BORO– A 37-year-old Brick woman was charged with saying, "Do you want corona? Do you want to die?" to a woman at Sundaes ice cream this past week, according to the Office of Attorney General.

Jaymee Tice, 37, was charged with carjacking and second-degree terroristic threats during an emergency, according to the OAG and police.

The incident happened on Sunday, April 26, 2at 6:35 p.m. when officers from the Point PleasantPolice Department responded to the parking lot of Sundaes Ice Cream Shop at 3217 Route 88, police said.

Tice entered the driver’s seat of an occupied vehicle while the driver was inside getting ice cream at Sundaes on Route 88 in Point Pleasant Boro, according to the OAG.

The car owner saw Tice and returned to her vehicle, the OAG said. She allegedly managed to get Tice out, but Tice allegedly shouted at her, saying, “Do you want corona? Do you want to die?”

Tice ultimately left the area on foot and was located by police a short distance away from the area. Tice repeatedly told the officers that she had “COVID” and refused to comply with their directions, police said.

Tice was transported to Ocean Medical Center for an evaluation. Anyone with information is
