Today, Shields faces a different kind of scrutiny - that of being a “woman of a certain age.” And yet, the passage of time has brought freedom to the Princeton alum, she said in her book.
At 59, Shields feels comfortable in her skin, more empowered and confident than she did decades ago. In her book, “Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old,“ the actor is changing the narrative about women and aging.
Shields’ book also discusses the importance of self-advocacy in medical spaces.
