Police Blotter: Car Accidents, Trespassing and Theft
Princeton Township Police reported the following incidents between Aug. 3-6.

On Aug. 3 at 7:45 a.m., Police received a call that Marvin White, 56, of Princeton, was at a residence in the 200 block of Redding Circle, an area that he had previously been notified by Princeton Housing Authority that he was not permitted to be. Police charged White with criminal trespass and released him at the scene.
Two victims reported that while their cars were parked at a business in the 200 block of Pretty Brook Road on Aug. 3 between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., the vehicles were broken into and items taken from inside. Each victim reported a wallet and/or purse stolen with enclosed cash/credit cards. An investigation continues.Â

On Aug. 4 at 2:19 p.m., police were responded a two-car crash with injuries at the intersection of Quaker Road Mercer at Mercer Street. An investigation revealed that a Chevy driven by Rebecca Smryl, 34 of Upper Darby, Pa. was preparing to turn onto Mercer from Quaker when she was struck from behind by a Ford driven by Cherlyn Bonacci, 19, of Hamilton. An 18-year-old passenger in the Ford was treated at the scene for head pain. Smryl was issued a summons for careless driving. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
On Aug. 4 at 3:43 p.m., police received a report of a crash at the intersection of Valley Road at Jefferson Road. An investigation revealed that a Volvo driven by Sarah Kirsch, 19, of West Windsor, entered the intersection traveling north on Jefferson Rd. and failed to yield to a Jeep driven by Leonard Ershow, 62, of Princeton, who had the right of way at the time. Kirsch was issued a summons for failure to stop or yield at the intersection. No injuries were reported.

A victim reported that several items had been stolen from her home in the 100 block of Randall Road. She said she had hired someone to haul away several items from her home, but that that person later returned and took additional items totaling almost $3,000. An investigation continues.
On Aug. 6 at 7:49 a.m., a two-car crash on N. Lawrenceville Road just south of the intersection Carriage Way. An investigation found that a Toyota driven by Amy Lupfer, 22 of Newton, N.J. was driving south on Lawrenceville Road when she was struck from behind by a Nissan driven by Paulette Kirkland, 28, of Manhattan, N.Y. Kirkland was issued a summons for careless driving. No injures were reported.Â
