Police Blotter: Charges for Marijuana Posession

Princeton Township Police reported the following incident for Aug. 14.

 

On Aug. 14 at 12:56 a.m. Princeton Township Police investigated a noise complaint in the area of Finley and Stuart Road when an officer found several people standing around a parked BMW. The officer smelled an odor of burnt and raw marijuana. 

Police arrested Elliott Wilson, 18, of Cranbury after he ran and was found to be in possession of marijuana.  He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and obstruction of the administration of law/eluding. The vehicle's driver, Benjamin Li, of Cranbury, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance for marijuana found in the vehicle.  They were released on their own recognizance.

Wilson and Li were released on their own recognizance.
