Police Blotter: Two DWIs and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance

On Aug. 9, police arrested Beatrice Chianese, 26, of Ewing and charged her with DWI following a motor vehicle accident investigation in the 200 block of Nassau Street. She was released with an Aug. 20 court date. 

On Aug. 10 at 1:58 a.m., police arrested Ovidiu McKay, 23, of Lawrenceville  and chaged him with DWI after a motor vehicle stop for speeding, failure to observe a traffic signal and prohibited cell phone use on Nassau Street. McKay was released with an Aug. 20 court date. 

On Aug. 12, police patrols encountered several males trespassing on property in the first block of Bayard Lane. Police said the group fled, but they apprehended Fanco Solis, 18, of Princeton nearby. He was found to be under the influence of marijuana and in possession of a device used to smoke marijuana. Solis was charged with being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, posessession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass. He was released with an Aug. 20 court date.
