• Gunpoint Rape Of Kidnapped College Student Consensual, Suspect Claims In Affidavit (patch.com) — Residents should know that a woman was allegedly kidnapped at County College of Morris in Randolph, then driven to Andover and sexually assaulted at gunpoint, according to police. Investigators used campus security footage and phone tracking to trace the victim’s disappearance, leading to the suspect’s arrest and a long list of serious charges now pending in Morris County.
   

• Second Annual Roxbury High School Ice Hockey Memorial Alumni Game (tapinto.net) — Roxbury High School’s varsity and alumni ice hockey teams will play a special memorial double-header at Sports Care Arena on Aspen Drive in Randolph the evening of Saturday, Dec. 27. Fans can watch the 6:15 p.m. varsity game and 8:15 p.m. alumni mini-tournament, with low-cost admission supporting scholarships honoring beloved coach Jason Tannenholz and former captain Gavin Barooah.
