One Driver Injured In Pedestrian-Related Crash
One driver rear-ended while letting a pedestrian cross intersection of Franklin & Oak. One injury but zero summonses issued, police said.
A vehicle was rear-ended by a silver sedan at the intersection of Franklin and Oak St. while waiting for a pedestrian to cross the street, Lt. Todd Harris confirmed.
The driver of the struck vehicle was taken to Valley Hospital with minor injuries and police said that there were no summonses issued in the accident. The report is still being completed, Harris said.
Flares were placed on the intersection but vehicles were able to move freely in all directions shortly after the accident occurred at around 7:30 p.m.
