Driver With Suspended License Crashes Into Ridgewood Home: Police
Police arrested a man with a suspended license who crashed into a Ridgewood home on Sunday, they said.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A driver with a suspended license was charged with reckless driving in Ridgewood on Sunday after crashing into a car and then a house, police said.
At around 9:50 a.m., according to Ridgewood Police Captain Glenn Ender, a man in a Honda tried to pass a Tesla heading southbound on West Saddle River Road.
As the Tesla was turning onto Terhune Road, the Honda hit it, then smashed into the side of a garage located at 471 West Saddle River Road, police said.

The driver of the Honda, Andrew Tucker, 42, of Paterson, was charged with reckless driving, improper passing, failure to produce insurance, unregistered vehicle, and driving while suspended, Ender said.
Tucker was also arrested for an active warrant from Hasbrouck Heights, Ender said.

The crash was near the historic Schedler property, in an area where residents have requested traffic and other studies.
