French-Korean Neighborhood Café Opens In Ridgewood

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A multinational chain of neighborhood cafés, known for baked and brewed goods and purported community connection, has opened a new location in Ridgewood, a spokesperson said.

Fast-casual café Paris Baguette opened its doors at 24 Franklin Avenue in a 4,800-square-foot space, with seating for up to 96 guests, the spokesperson said.

“We are so excited to be opening to the Ridgewood community," store owner and operator Ardy Mohtaram said. "The time is now here to grab a cup of coffee and celebrate all of life’s moments, big or small, with our expertly crafted goods."

"We can’t wait to serve everyone," Mohtaram added.

Inside the French-Korean bakery, large self-serve displays will feature an extensive menu of pastries and cakes, and showcase signature items such as strawberry soft cream cake, Mochi donuts and chocolate croissants.

The restaurant will bring more than 25 career opportunities to the local job market, and hirees will serve baked goods "paired with moments of joy" to customers, a spokesperson said.

Store hours are 7 a.m. through 10 p.m. daily.
