Man Arrested For 'Multiple' Sex Assaults Of Minor: Bergen County Prosecutor

A Bergen County man was arrested for sexually assaulting a minor on "multiple" occasions, prosecutors said.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Palisades Park man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a child on multiple occasions, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Petro A. Osorio-Estrada of Palisades Park was charged Monday with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and three counts of third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutors said that on Ot. 15, the prosecutor's Special Victims Unit was contacted regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile that had occurred in the past.

An investigation determined that he "sexually assaulted the juvenile victim on multiple occasions, when the child was between the ages of five and 15, in Palisades Park," prosecutors said.

He was arrested in Paramus and taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.
