NJ Man Robs Liquor Store On Halloween, Partner Hits Clerk With Car, Police Say
A store employee in Glen Rock chased a shoplifter Thursday and was hit by a car. Police are seeking the shoplifting suspect.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Police in Glen Rock are seeking a man whose attempted theft of alcohol led on Halloween night led to a store employee being struck by a car, police said.
An employee at Bottle King Liquors on Prospect Street chased a man who tried to steal $655 worth of liquor, police said. After the employee tackled the would-be thief in the parking lot, he was struck by a 2006 Toyota Camry, according to authorities.
The employee was treated at Hackensack University Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car, 37-year-old Jeanelle K. Mulligan of Wayne, was arrested and charged, police said.

Police have issued a warrant for Mulligan's accomplice, Kyle Steines, also known as Kyle La Forgia, 38, of Wayne. Authorities said he has been seen in the Hawthorne area.
"A warrant has been issued for his arrest in relation to the Oct. 31 evening shoplifting at Bottle King Liquors on the 900 block of Prospect Street," police said in a release on Wednesday. "During this incident his accomplice struck a store employee with a motor vehicle in the parking lot as the employee was attempting to detain him."

Mulligan was charged with assault by auto and conspiracy to commit shoplifting. She was taken to the Bergen County Jail.
