Midland Park Woman 'Escaped Serious Injury' in Ridgewood Crash, Police Say
The woman was removed from the vehicle by the Ridgewood Fire Dept. and was transported to Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries
Police say an elderly “Midland Park resident escaped serious injury” after her car crashed over a guardrail and went down an embankment.
The woman was driving her 2009 Honda Civic 4-door sedan just before 3 p.m. on Jan. 12 when she went “over a guard rail and [into a] retaining wall, crashing down an embankment at a condominium complex” at Corsa Terrace in Ridgewood, according to the Ridgewood Police Department.
The victim was removed from the vehicle by the Ridgewood Fire Department and was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The vehicle was removed by a heavy duty wrecker and flatbed tow truck, according to Ridgewood police. Damage to the condominium complex was limited to shrubbery.
