Monday: Revised Field Use Policy Presentation

Members of the Fields Committee will be presenting changes to the document at Monday's school board meeting.

1) The controversial fields use policy revisions will be presented to the Ridgewood Board of Education on Monday night after the Fields Committee gave it the go-ahead. At odds between neighbors, governing bodies and sport groups are the hours of operation and priority usage. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Education Center on Cottage Street.

2) The school board will also be hearing updates on the with more concrete numbers to the "top-down" unscientific look. Also on the agenda is a presentation on K-12 science by two science teachers and the high school supervisor of math and science, Greg McDonald.

3) Seen Garber Square lately? The village has too, it seems. Or felt it anyway. As of late Sunday night, the right lane heading south had orange cones cordoning off some of the massive pot holes in the road.

4) The weather today will be cloudy with a slight chance of rain in the afternoon. The snow should continue to melt as it's expected to hit 40 degrees today.

5) Rearyard collection today will be for West Siders along with paper and commingled in Recycling Area 5.
