Monday: School Surveys In, Special Village Council Session

Five things you should check out Monday include two important school and government meetings, arts, sports and more.

1) It's rare to see a village council meeting on a Monday, but at 7:30 p.m. the to introduce ordinance #3275 to determine salaries for police.

2)  The district will be unveiling the parent surveys taken six months ago as well as updating the 2011-2012 budget schedule along with a whole host of other things at its . The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at the Cottage Street Education Center.

3) Ridgewood boys and girls in Manhattan at 4 p.m. to run their hearts out. Best of luck to the talented Maroon runners!

4) Ridgewood High School will be hosting the beginning on Monday and running through Jan. 14. Organizers are looking for alums to contribute their work, so give the Department of Art & Design a call at 201-670-2800, ext. 20542.

5) The RHS Players  at 7:30 p.m. with alumni. If you're not busy with meetings, that is. Proceeds go to the New Players Capital Campaign. Tickets range from $15 for students to $75.
