Premium Burger and Ice Cream Shop to Open This Fall

Originally called "Too Bobs Burgers," the 75 Franklin Avenue restaurant now has a new name

Originally and set to open in summer of 2011, developer J.T. Bolger's burger and ice cream shop in the former setting of Fairway Dodge will open a tad later, and under a new moniker.

Construction crews have been seen tearing down the unique 75 Franklin Avenue lot over the past few months and Bolger said in an e-mail the eatery is scheduled to open in fall of 2011. The property has long been considered an eyesore in Ridgewood's Central Business District.

Originally coined "Too Bobs Burgers," the restaurant is now called "East Coast Burgers," he said. The restaurant will still specialize in traditional and custom burgers, as well as homemade ice cream.
