Ridgewood High School's second seed Maroons are one win away from an appearance in their football section's championship game.
Having passed East Orange with a 63-34 win in the first playoff round of the North 1, Group 5 tournament last Friday, the undefeated Ridgewood team takes on Passaic Tech of Wayne under the lights of RHS Stadium this Friday night at 7 p.m.
The third seed Passaic Tech squad bested Hackensack 40-6 last week. The team has an 8-2 record going into the semi-final game.
The winner of Friday's game will go on to play either undefeated Montclair or 8-2 Union City in a championship game at MetLife Stadium Dec. 6.
