Ridgewood Guild Gearing Up for 3rd Annual Film Festival

More than 40 films from across the country will be shown Wednesday and Thursday at Ridgewood's Clearview Warner Theater.

Tony Damiano and his Ridgewood Guild compatriots will be bringing a wealth of top independent films to Ridgewood on Wednesday and Thursday for the third annual Ridgewood Film Festival.

The red carpet will be rolled out at 6 p.m. Wednesday, with showings starting at 7 p.m.

Student films, music videos, animations, feature-length motion pictures and documentaries are among the 40-plus offerings at the two-day event. Several filmmakers will hold a Q&A session following the screenings.

"Thursday night is the Ridgewood Guild's 'Women in Film' tribute," The Guild wrote on its website. "All films that night are either directed and produced by women or about women and their lives."

Tickets are available at Mango Jam, Araya Rebirth, House of DeCiccio and online.
