Saturday: Best Parking Spot in Ridgewood?

1) Have you found the best parking spot in Ridgewood? If you think you have, keep it a secret. You won't have it much longer. That must have been what the driver of a minivan thought Friday night, when he elected to park his vehicle on the side of East Ridgewood Avenue...at the intersection of Van Neste Square...on a crosswalk. The driver actually raced another vehicle while traveling east on the main drag, then suddenly stopped and remained at the above spot for about ten minutes before departing.

2) Jermaine Jackson, singer and brother to the late pop star Michael Jackson, will be at Bookends promoting his new book, You are Not Alone Michael: Through a Brother's Eyes at Bookends beginning at 1 p.m.

3) Stop by and stitch and chat at from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
