Saturday's 'Best Day Ever' To Honor Late Ridgewood 10-Year-Old
The First Annual Michael Feeney's Best Day Ever will remember the life of a village boy who lost his battle to Ewing's Sarcoma last year.
Ridgewood resident Michael Feeney died on Black Friday 2013 after a four-year battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a pediatric bone cancer. He was 10 years old. Throughout his short, but big, life Michael showed enormous courage. Michael was never without a smile, and he inspired all who knew him.
To honor Michael, his parents are holding a fundraiser, “The 1st Annual Michael Feeney’s Best Day Ever” at BF Middle School in Ridgewood on June 21, the first day of summer, on what would have been Michael Feeney’s 11th birthday.
This event is truly created with Michael in the details. From the food, to the games, to the music, to the charitable donations, there is nothing here that would not make Michael happy. It will be a fun and rewarding time for all involved.
