Sunday: Street Fair, Tons of Garage Sales

The annual craft show has tons of vendors for all tastes

1) Rain or shine, the annual street craft fair will be coming to Ridgewood starting at 12:00 p.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. With interesting and unique crafts from more than 140 different vendors, you're sure to find something you want to take home. More information can be found .

2) You've seen the signs everywhere, so you know there are lots of garage sales this weekend. Head over to 24 Richmond Avenue 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for girls' clothes, accessories, houseware items, furniture and books.

You could also head to 459 Hunter Road for household items (including a pool table) between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Maybe you'd rather some "high end" items like electronics, furniture, clothes and more? We suggest you go to 209 W. Glen Ave., in that case. (Note: Park at Alpine, and don't show up before 9:00 a.m.)

If you've got a tot, strike it rich at 125 Hope Street. Tons of baby clothes, toys, furniture and other stuff. The sale goes from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

3) Head over to the now-handicap accessible train station and grab some fall food at the Ridgewood Farmers Market.

4) Temple Israel is holding an open house at its Grove Street synagogue at 10:30 a.m.

5) The Ridgewood girls volleyball team defeated Teaneck this weekend. The varsity boys soccer team followed suit and also defeated Teaneck, something Ridgewood makes a habit of doing to its neighbor to the east. The girls cross-country team also placed a fantastic second place at the recent Spiked Shoe Invitational.
