Teen Girl Struck by Vehicle at East Ridgewood and Maple Sunday Afternoon

A teenage girl was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of North Maple and East Ridgewood Avenue Sunday afternoon. The victim, who was in the crosswalk when struck, was taken to The Valley Hospital with minor injuries.

Ridgewood police and EMS responded to the incident at 2:28 p.m. Police could not immediately be reached for comment on the issuance of citations.
