An 18-year-old was identified as one of three suspects in the shoplifting incident, the police chief said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — An 18-year-old stands accused of helping lift nearly $375 worth of vape pens from a local store, authorities said.

The New York teen was one of three people identified in the shoplifting incident Thursday at Krauszers Food Store in Glen Rock, police Chief Dean Ackermann said.

At about 2:45 p.m., the trio allegedly "became abusive" with the cashier and asked for money, and when they were refused, stole the products and drove off, police said. No threat of violence was made.
