1) Kids can finally taste it! The long-awaited winter break is just about here. Today is the last day of school – the district will be closing school until January 1. Hear that sound? It's the sound of children celebrating. Even more cause for celebration? High schoolers won't have homework. 2) Village Hall staff may also be celebrating – it'll be closed part of day. and will be closed Friday, Christmas Eve for the entire day. Garbage pickup on Thursday, however, will remain the same. 3) The from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. so you can save someone's life should you ever need to. The class is $80 and the certification will last for two years. 4) Spa guru Dale Orlando to those needing to get rid of a little stress. An hour-long session costs $120. 5) The Ridgewood boys varsity basketball team had a late rally to storm back with Ramapo on Tuesday but ultimately fell to the Raiders. . in the RHS gym.
