Thursday: Mayor Killion Reads to Kids at Graydon

First Graydon Children's Storytime of the summer season

1) Bring the kids over to Graydon Pool at 2:00 p.m. and as part of the second annual Children's Storytime. These storytimes will be held weekly on Thursday over the summer, so make sure to bring the kids. There's no cost to hearing the mayor (or other readers) bellow out the tales!

2) In case you forgot (and we hope you didn't), will be doing its annual 4th of July party after the parade. A nearly two-decade tradition, it's outside with live music from the Hecktones this year. Food is of course available and the bar is open.

3) It's Vibe Thursday at , so stop by and have a drink at the village's only nightclub and hear some of today's most popular music on the dancefloor.

4) It'll be 82 and sunny with a nice breeze on Thursday. Yep, we'll take it.

5) Former school board member Laurie Goodman has a really interesting post on the school's role in disciplining students for alleged infractions off school grounds at her education blog, LaurieGood.Blogspot. Definitely worth a read.
