Monday's Board of Education Public Meeting Pushed Up to 6 p.m.
The meeting, originally scheduled for 7:30, will now begin at 6 p.m.. Take a look at some of what board members will be going over.

The Ridgewood Board of Education will meet tonight at its usual spot on the third floor of the Education Center of the Beech school. The meeting time, however, has been changed. Originally scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., it will now be at 6 p.m and as usual will be broadcast on Channel 77 and made available on the district's website.
According to the agenda (posted, available as a pdf attached to this article), board members will be discussing quite a bit. So take a minute to look over our brief preview of some notable items.
The big item is they'll be updating the status of the current referendum projects, including the change orders (worth roughly $100,000) that had been built into the budget. Additional work had to be done at Stevens Field, asbestos removal was needed at Willard, and there were a few roofing alterations made at a few schools.

- Members will also vote on the new curriculum, which sees changes in early-elementary math, and some other changes at the high school, notably in social studies.
- The board is slated to finalize new staff appointments, including those of three new classroom teachers. Also up for approval is a new supervisor of wellness/athletic director. Changes are slated to be made to some staff assignments as well.
