Brogan Retains Position as BOE President, Loncto VP

Jim Morgan, Michele Lenhard also sworn in to new three-year terms Monday night at the Ridgewood school board reorganization meeting.

Sheila Brogan and Vince Loncto were unanimously re-elected as Ridgewood school board president and vice president, respectively, Monday night.

Separately, trustees Michele Lenhard and Jim Morgan were sworn in to three year term following their election last Tuesday. Both incumbents ran unopposed.

All five trustees will continue to hold the same committee positions for the upcoming school year.

Brogan also thanked voters for passing the $91 million 2013-2014 budget, which passed with more than 55 percent of the vote but featured turnout at just 13 percent.

"Although it was a small turnout, the results were positive and our budget passed," she said. "I think we were all hoping for a larger turnout and more participation but that wasn't the case this year."
