Woman, 72, Made False Bomb Threat To Hospital In Bergen County: Prosecutors

A 72-year-old Wayne woman was arrested for making a false bomb threat to a hospital in Bergen County, prosecutors said.

TEANECK, NJ — A Wayne woman has been arrested for calling in a false bomb threat to a hospital in Teaneck this summer, prosecutors said Thursday.

Adele Ulrich, 72, was arrested Tuesday after a months-long investigation, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

They said that on Saturday, Aug. 17, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Intelligence & Counter-Terrorism Unit was notified by the Teaneck police about a call to Holy Name Hospital. Police said an unknown telephone caller used technology to anonymize the “caller ID," and claimed "that several bombs were going to detonate in the hospital."
