Wednesday: Gear Up for the Car Show

1) Bring out those roaring beauties on September 9, when the 18th annual Chamber of Commerce Car show is scheduled. This is one of the few times of the year people are happy the streets are shut down.

2) Pump up the baste? Must admit, the Wilsey Square section of Ridgewood's business district can sometimes be forgotten. We've been meaning to check out the new roast chicken spot, Baste. Anyone tried it yet? Thoughts? (Yes, we'll be giving it an official look soon; promise.)

3) It will be a clear, calm day in the village. Expect 83 degrees and sun.

4) The first Valley special public meeting will be at RHS Campus Center but only broadcast on Cablevision's channel 77. Sorry FiOS users, not this time.
