GLEN ROCK, NJ — A woman was arrested and charged after she critically injured a 65-year-old man in a hit-and-run, authorities announced.

Marina M. Lee, 65, of Hawthorne was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision resulting in serious bodily injury, acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said in a news release.

Lee was arrested after Glen Rock police received a report at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday about a pedestrian struck in a hit-and-run on Lincoln Avenue, Calo said.

Officers found a 65-year-old man lying in the road with serious injuries, Calo said. He was taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, where he is in critical, but stable, condition, he said.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and Glen Rock Police officers investigated. They determined that the man was trying to cross Lincoln Avenue when he was hit by a black SUV traveling north, Calo said.
