Bergen's Van Atta High Reunites for One-Night Only Show
The River Edge-based band will perform tonight at Mexicali Live, Teaneck
Bergen County band Van Atta High (VAH) is set perform at in a one night-only reunion Friday.
Founding member Steve Kellner formed the band in June 2006 alongside River Edge's Socrates Moutsakis (Guitar) and Santino Loconte (Drums). Later Stephen Jasko (guitar) and River Edge's Clark Starace (bass) were added to the line-up.
Two years later, after releasing the Run Like Hell EP in 2007 and performing at the 2007 Taste of Chaos, 2007/2008 Vans Warped Tour and 2008/2009 Bamboozle, Moutsakis and Loconte left VAH in 2008 and the group brought in Glenn Petnel (Drums) and Justin Maikisch (Guitar). Maikisch left the band during summer 2009 and VAH disbanded in 2010.

Along with the Run Like Hell EP, VAH also released the 2006 We Are the Captivated EP, Doin' Somethin' Right EP in 2009 through Thriving/Tragic Hero Records, and lastly Love Blitz:United EP in 2010.
Tickets are $12. The band will share the stage with My Arcadia, The Victory and Mitchy C.
