Elm Street Motorist Alert

The Borough of Oradell has placed additional traffic calming measures on Elm Street in advance of the .

New Stop Signs have been placed at the intersections of Elm Street and Bergen Blvd along with Elm Street and Center Street. These new stop signs are in place now so please be alert when traveling through that area. 

Construction on upgrading the  to federal standards was following the discovery of a heron nesting nearby. The estimated $1 million project would include widening the bridge by two-feet and increasing the weigh limit from three-tons to 40-tons so it meets federal standards.
