River Edge School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacation

RIVER DELL, NJ — The first day of school in River Edge is September 6 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The River Edge School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: No School (Professional Day)

November

• 11/6: No School (Professional Day)
• 11/8 - 11/9: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/19 - 11/20: Parent Teacher Conference
• 11/21: Early Release
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/21: Early Release
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/19: No School (Winter Break)

March

• 3/5: Early Release
• 3/19: Parent Teacher Conference
• 9/21: Parent Teacher Conference

April

• 4/15 - 4/19: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/25: Last Day of School
