Council Has Full Agenda Ahead this Week

A preview of what's to come in River Dell this week

The River Edge Mayor and Council will have a full night ahead of them during Monday's work session at 7pm between upcoming construction projects and a midyear budget review.

The governing body will hear from DPW Superintendent John Lynch and Police Chief Thomas Cariddi on the status of their respective budgets midway through the year. The Council previously heard from the who all stated they should remain within their budget allotments for the year. But both the police and DPW have predominatelly accounted for the bulk of the borough's annual budget costs.

Also up for discussion will be the for the Public Safety and Borough Hall buildings. In February, engineer Kenneth DelPercio : install a 250-kilowatt generator that would power both the municipal hall and the police department or a 175-kilowatt system to cover only the police department.
