Scotch Plains Junior Woman’s Club Gets Ready for Annual Fall Town Wide Garage Sale

Trash or treasure? You be the judge Saturday, September 22, 2012 during the Annual Scotch Plains-Fanwood Town Wide Garage Sale, sponsored by the GFWC Scotch Plains Junior Woman’s Club.

Residents hold their own sale and keep all profits. Registration gets participants on a detailed map listing all homes and items for sale at each location. Maps are distributed for FREE in Scotch Plains and Fanwood. The event will be heavily publicized via newspapers, local cable TV, signboards and flyers in both towns.

To participate, send a $20 check payable to SPJWC Garage Sale, P.O. Box 284, Scotch Plains, 07076. Include the complete address and items for sale (for example, furniture, clothes, toys, etc.) Applications can also be picked up at the Scotch Plains Library and Fanwood Library. All applications must be in by Wednesday, September 12. Sunday, September 23 is the rain date. For more information visit the club website atwww.spjwc.com.
