School Crossing Guard Struck By Vehicle In South Brunswick

The guard was uninjured, but evaluated by EMS as a precaution, authorities said.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A school crossing guard was struck by a vehicle on Friday morning, South Brunswick police said.

Around 8:56 a.m., the crossing guard was assisting pedestrians at the intersection of Cambridge Road and Nassau Road, when they were struck by a vehicle, police said.

The guard was uninjured, but evaluated by EMS as a precaution.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
