Two Willows Swimmers Capture Titles

Emma Hazard and Nina Mendes earn first place at "A" league championships.

On July 26 and 27, the Willows finished their 2013 season by competing in the “A” league championships at the Cedar Hill Swim Club.

The two-day event brought swimmers from all the teams in the “A” league to vie for the top six spots, thus earning points for their respective teams. The Willows had 18 swimmers earn points for the team and two swimmers, Emma Hazard and Nina Mendes earned first place in their event.

The following week, the NJ Swimming and Diving Conference held their championships at the Frog Hollow Swim Club.  The meet gathers swimmers with qualifying times from all four leagues.
