• Tree Crashes Through Home In Union County, See Inside: Report (patch.com) — Springfield residents are recovering after powerful winds sent a tree crashing through a Woodcrest Circle home Monday night, badly damaging the roof but sparing the family and their pets from injury. The storm brought gusts up to 50 miles per hour in town and even higher elsewhere in New Jersey, knocking out power for thousands as a Wind Advisory remained in effect into Tuesday.
