On Friday, July 30, more than 100 members of Temple Sha'arey Shalom, Springfield, gathered to celebrate Shabbat outside on a warm, summer night.  A picnic-style barbecue was followed by a special service under the stars, led byRabbi Joshua Goldstein and Cantor Amy Daniels.  Temple Confirmation student Matthew Kass helped with the Torah.
