2 Women Charged With Trespassing Near Summit Home: Police

The two women reportedly tried to open the doors of a vehicle parked on a residential driveway, police said.

SUMMIT, NJ - Two women were charged last week after they reportedly tried to open the doors of a vehicle parked on a residential driveway, police said.

Tasha Jack-Spellman, 20, of East Orange, and Kalani Norman, 19, of Maplewood, were both charged with criminal trespassing, Summit police confirmed to Patch.

The charges stem from a call to police from a Lenox Road resident about suspicious persons in their driveway, police said.

Matching the description of the suspects, Jack-Spellman and Norman were located at the base of a driveway on Hobart Road once police arrived at the residence, police said.

Both women were processed and released with a pending court date.
