Be a Student Patriot: Enter the Summit Flag Day Poster Contest
High schoolers in Summit, New Providence, and Chatham have a chance to create a patriotic entry and land money prizes from the Summit Elks Club. Deadline is June 5.
Time's running out for Summit Flag Day poster entries.
The Summit Elks Lodge #1246 is sponsoring the contest, directed toward high school students from Summit, New Providence and Chatham. Entries are due by Wednesday, June 5, at 5 pm.
Prize awards are significant: $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $200 for third place.

Submissions - which must be original and created by the entrant - should be emailed to Robert.j.peacock@gmail.com and must be in a one-page, 8.5 by 11 letter-sized PDF format. Entries must include the student's name, school, grade, email address, and phone number.
Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the Flag Day Celebration on the Village Green in Summit on Friday, June 14.
