Brother of Missing Summit Man Continues Search

David Blanco says his brother Ronald went to work a roofing job in Dover last week and never returned.

Police and family have yet to turn up answers in the dissapearance of Summit resident Ronald Blanco, 27. His brother David, who lives with him in a home on Morris Avenue says his older brother never came home after going to Dover to work on a roofing project.

"I've done all I could," said David, 26. He says his brother works as a painter in Summit, but took the job last week and stayed with a friend in nearby Dover while he worked on the job. Sometime between last Friday and Saturday friends lost contact with Ronald Blanco.

David, said in Spanish that he's been working with the Hispanic community in Summit to flyer around town. The image features his brother with several phone numbers. He says he hasn't heard any good news so far, but hopes for the best.

“I'm sad. I was like 'wow'. I don’t know what happened to him. I went to Dover looking for him. I went to New York. I looked everywhere," he said. He says Wharton Police were investigating the matter. Calls to police officials seeking comment were not returned, but the department did confirm the missing person report.
