It's been 17 long years, but finally the cicadas have arrived.  Digging their way out from under ground by the billions, cicadas spend the last weeks of their long lives climbing trees and buildings before molting, mating, and, soon after, dying. While they're above ground they certainly make an impression. Known as the <a href="http://www.magicicada.org/about/brood_pages/broodII.php" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">East Coast II brood</a>, these cicadas will emerge between April and June.  Have you spotted a cicada yet?
