City Offices Closed In Summit For Labor Day
All Summit offices will be closed on Monday, and parking will be free on the holiday.
SUMMIT, NJ — All Summit city offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5 for Labor Day.
Labor Day is also a parking holiday in Summit with no fees required for on-street parking or in lots or garages, according to the city.
Trash is still collected on holidays in Summit, however there is no recycling collection on Monday, Sept. 5. All recycling collections next week will take place the day following your regularly scheduled recycling day.

Monday's collection is pushed to Tuesday, Sept. 6, Tuesday collection is pushed to Wednesday, Sept. 7 and so on.
