Congressman Lance to Speak at Kent Place School

Valentine's Day visit will address a letter a Summit fifth grader sent to the Congressman.

Congressman Leonard Lance will visit Kent Place School of Summit to speak to a 5th grade class.  During the school visit, Lance will answer and respond personally to a letter he received from a student at the school.  Lance will also discuss his job as a lawmaker and answer questions from the students about issues pending before Congress.

Lance’s visit will begin at 10:30 a.m., Feb. 14, at Kent Place School located at 42 Norwood Avenue  in Summit.  

After the classroom visit, Lance is expected to hold a brief ceremony to recognize students who are leading an anti-liter campaign.
